Who are we

Stewart Travel Management is a trading name of Stewart Travel Limited.

What information we collect from you

We will not pass your information to third parties for the purposes of them contacting you regarding their products and services.

You can tell us not to contact you with information regarding our products and services either at the point such information is collected (by checking or un-checking (as directed) the relevant box) or by following the unsubscribe instructions on any communications sent to you. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Who we share your information with

All calls into and from Stewart Travel Management may be silently monitored and/or recorded for training and quality purposes.

If you make a booking, we may pass your personal information to other relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as airline and transport operators and accommodation providers. This may also apply to any sensitive personal information that you give to us, such as details of any disabilities or dietary/religious requirements. Your personal information may also be passed to travel agents, tour operators, government, enforcement and security agencies and to the public authorities of any country in your itinerary, including immigration and customs authorities. If we cannot pass your personal information on as outlined here, we cannot properly fulfil your booking.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable supplier’s privacy policy and, if your booking is made via a reservation system provider (“GDS”), with its privacy policy. These are available at: Airline Carrier Privacy Policy  or from the carrier, GDS, supplier directly.

We may disclose your personal information to any of our affiliates, or to our agents or contractors who assist us in processing bookings, providing the services we offer through the Stewart Travel Management, processing transactions, fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communications, updating marketing lists, analysing data, providing support services or in other tasks, from time to time. Our agents and contractors will only use your information to the extent necessary to perform their functions.

In the event that we undergo re-organisation or are sold to a third party, you agree that any personal information we hold about you may be transferred to that re-organised entity or third party.

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to prevent fraud or cyber-crime or to protect the Site or the rights, property or personal safety of any person.

Payment processing

Payment details you provide will be encrypted using secure sockets layer (SSL) technology before they are submitted to us over the internet. Payments made through Stewart Travel Management are made through our payment solutions provider. You will be providing credit or debit card information directly to our provider which operates a secure server to process payment details, encrypting your credit/debit card information and authorising payment. Information which you supply to our provider is not within our control and is subject to our provider's Privacy Policy and terms and conditions.

How we protect your information

We place great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with our users. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. For example, our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to personal information. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our booking platforms or services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

You should bear in mind that submission of information over the internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via Stewart Travel Management whilst it is in transit over the internet and any such submission is at your own risk.

It is advisable to close your browser when you have finished your user session to help ensure others do not access your personal information if you use a shared computer or a computer in a public place.

Where we store your information

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by organisations operating outside the EEA that work for us or for any of our suppliers (e.g. Airlines, hoteliers, etc). We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

In some circumstances we may store your personal information for longer periods of time, for instance where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting requirements.
